Tea & Cannolis at Caffe Concerto

My Grandparents are visiting me in Birmingham for the weekend… and as I know my Grandad is more than a little obsessed with Cannolis I knew exactly where to take them for a treat…

Caffe Concerto is an Italian restaurant with branches in Central London as well as Birmingham and the Middle East. With a dedication to fine food, excellence in service and a love of the fine art of patisserie…” [source]

In my teacup today was a delicious English Breakfast tea from Caffe Concerto, served with a delicious array of sweet pastry treats. The tea was a rich-bodied, silky smooth breakfast tea, but brewed a little too hot, which caused for a loss of some of the fuller flavours. This was made up for by the elegant cream-filled pastries on offer. My Grandad gave the cannolis a 10 out of 10!!!
