Teavent 2018: TeaRevv Day 1 Frosted Fruit Spice

FROSTED FRUIT SPICE: Black tea, Cinnamon, Ginger, Apple pieces, Cloves, Cinnamon quillings, Amaranth and Safflower petals, Natural flavours.” [source]

In my teacup today is my first day of Christmas teas from TeaRevv. Today’s selection is Frosted Fruit Spice. This blend is Christmas in a cup: full of spice, and a little synthetic. The smell of both the loose leaves and the brewed tea is like that of a spiced mulled wine, and it is a truly festive scent. I found the taste a little synthetic, and a little bitter, but with the addition of a splash of milk it became a really pleasant cup. Christmas aromas mixed with a fruity, cinnamony, berry flavouring made for the perfect start to my advent of tea!

Frosted Fruit Spice from TeaRevv was a festive Christmas blend, with a delicious mulled wine scent. I enjoyed the flavours of a slightly synthetic cinnamon berry Christmas with a splash of milk. Get the taste of Christmas here.
