A Tasting Treat of T2’s French Earl Grey

T2's French Earl Grey is a stunning play on a classic, both suitable for the more traditional tea-drinker, but it brings an invigorating edge that elevates it.

Today I popped into T2 in Birmingham’s Bullring… I was looking for teaspiration, and found it in a taster of their delightful French Earl Grey.

“Earl Grey gets a French twist which is oh-so-fruity. A medium-bodied black tea base with pretty petals and notes of fruit that play with classic bergamot in an inspiring, bold and refined infusion.”

As you can see from the photo, the loose leaf tea is just beautiful with it’s curled black tea leaves, and dashes of vibrant colours from the flower petals. The rose stood out in front both in it’s hues among the leaves, and in the delicate flavours within the blend.

This tea is a stunning play on a classic, both suitable for the more traditional tea-drinker, but it brings an invigorating edge that elevates it. Earl Grey teas are among my favourite blends, and T2’s French Earl Grey has steeped itself into my top slot for favourite Earl Grey tea. It is simply perfect.

    1. It was really good! I would highly recommend it if you like something a little more floral, and almost sweeter than your regular Earl Grey. If you sign up to T2’s Tea Society on their website you can get great discounts on their teas!
